Take a journey through slavery, beginning on a plantation:
Meet Walter, read about his life. Click on the icons to learn more about Walter, his family, and their lives on the plantation.
End your journey with attaining freedom:
Read and/or listen to Walter's final entry as a free man. Take a closer look at all of the images of freedom by clicking on the + signs.
