Welcome to the Underground Railroad pathfinder! A pathfinder is "...a guide that leads the way to wonderful resources..." (Lamb & Johnson) This particular pathfinder is dedicated to the Underground Railroad, a system created by many people, both black and white, to help fugitive slaves escape from the South to freedom. This pathfinder has been created in conjunction with a fourth grade unit on the Underground Railroad, but can be used by elementary school aged children.
